FNIS is delighted to announce that our friend and colleague, Dr. Sarah Hunt, Assistant Professor in First Nations and Indigenous Studies and the Department of Geography, is the 2017 recipient of the American Association of Geographers’ Glenda Laws Award. This important honour recognizes an early- to mid-career scholar whose work makes an outstanding contribution to geographic research on social issues, and supports more ethical, justice-oriented scholarship.
