Tanya Bob assists with the First Nations and Indigenous Studies Practicum, and is also the FNIS Program Advisor. Tanya is also the Coordinator of Aboriginal Student Affairs and has an MA in Linguistics.
Danielle Kraichy is a 4th year Red River Métis student who will be graduating in August 2017 with a BA in First Nations and Indigenous Studies. She is the Student Project Assistant at FNIS and is frequently available to discuss her experience as a staff member and upper-level undergraduate student.
Alexandra Tsardidis was born and raised in Terrace, B.C. where she worked at Northwest Community College in Admissions and Registration for seven years. Alexandra is certified as a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant, and is also working towards her Bachelor of Commerce Degree. She moved to Vancouver in 2015 joining First Nations Indigenous Studies at UBC to fill the role of Program Assistant.
Candice Yu graduated from the University of Alberta with a BEd in Secondary Education. She was born in Taiwan, and came to Canada when she was ten years old. She’s a fluent Mandarin speaker, and enjoys food, music, and connecting with people.
